OUR STORY
DELIBERATE INVESTMENT IN THE LIVES OF BLACK SINGLE MOTHERS IS A LEVER FOR CHANGE.
The Current Project deliberately invests in the social, emotional, and economic well being of Black single mothers living in highly dense and underinvested communities by anchoring programs, advocacy, and practices that network and resource our participants to exercise agency to increase individual and communal outcomes.
At our core, we are a collective of Black single mothers whose communal approach to learning and mobilizing, in partnership with community, civic, corporate, and nonprofit organizations. Through innovative programs, impactful collaborations, and an unwavering dedication to sustainable solutions, we transform ideas into actionable change.
